Due to expansion, Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc, is seeking candidates for a Director of Quality Assurance opportunity. This person will be responsible to ensure that internal and external clinical standards are met and that continuous improvement processes are under taken to achieve organizational goals. This person will also oversee clinical auditing processes, prepares/analyzes data, and works collaboratively with the leadership on those findings.

Essential Job Functions Include:  

  • Oversees internal audits to ensure consistency and compliance with organizational standards, clinical pathways, and external requirements.

  • Identify, assess, and prioritize risk findings and coordinate systems of oversight to monitor and minimize identified risks following audits. 

  • Evaluate clinical documentation with regard to medical necessity, appropriate use of clinical pathways, evidence-based care, and efficiency of care.


  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Master's degree in related clinical field and state      licensure/certification in related clinical or nursing field.
  • Extensive clinical and operations experience on a regional /multiple facilities level.
  • From five to seven years' experience as a senior clinician and/or administrator in an accredited behavioral health organization of similar size or larger than Cummins.
