We currently have an opening for a front office / administrative support position to assume a key role in the front office at our behavioral healthcare outpatient facility in Greencastle, IN.
The front office administrative support position will be responsible for performing front office duties, e.g., scheduling appointments, checking customers in and out, verifying insurance to determine eligibility and co-payment amounts, accepting payments, maintaining clinical records to include filing & chart review, data entry, answering phones, and maintaining confidentiality.
Work hours will generally be Monday – Friday, mid-afternoon and evening hours are expected; however, organizational need may require changes to that work schedule as needed, so this position requires an individual who is able to work a flexible work schedule.
Previous front office experience in a medical facility is required for this position, and previous front office experience in a behavioral health care facility is preferred.
This position requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team-based atmosphere. Must possess good computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Windows environment, e.g., Excel, Word, etc.
Candidates for this position must demonstrate:
